Evanston Youth Basketball League
Get Your Kid In The Game
Our very own EYBL (Evanston’s Youth Basketball League) is a 10 week program designed to teach each child the fundamentals of basketball, help enhance their skills, build their confidence, and challenge them through peer competition.
Each level will be structured based upon the recommendations of the Jr. NBA.
For instance, the K-1st Grade League’s games will be more instructional and less officiated to ensure they grasp the fundamentals but to give them enough space to begin to love the game. Our Certified Ref will also be one of our very own Coaches.
Conversely, our 5th & 6th Grade League will be much more competitive.
The older children will compete against each other week in and week out for a shot at the “ship!”
Partnering with JRC's Ryan Frazier
Our younger, newer players will be under the instruction of JRC’s Ryan Frazier. Frazier, a certified IHSAA Referee and former Evanston Basketball stand-out, has the knowledge necessary to lead, but, more importantly, has displayed the patience required to help our rookies learn while ensuring they maintain a joy for the game.
